Vintage Original Low Production Accutron 214 Railroad Approved “B”, “Turtle” or M. Odel 201 case, Just Serviced & running Fine! Time & Time Again. Bulova introduced the worlds first tuning fork movement timepiece to the public in October of 1960. The watch that “hummms” rather than “ticking” was something entirely new and an overwhelming success. Bulova produced the Accutron line of watches from 1960 until 1977. This is a very low production model “B”, “Turtle” or Model 201 Railroad Approved Accutron. This particular Accutron has a stainless steel screw-down water resistant case back, It measures 35.85mm wide by 39mm lug to lug. It is powered by the original 13 jewel 214 caliber tuning fork movement. The original Accutron dial is in MINT condition featuring a matte white enameled non-reflective background with bold black enameled 1-12 hour markers, and black enameled outer minute track with blued railroad spade pointer hands. It comes with a padded & stitched Accutron signed strap & buckle strap, “AND” are including a matching New Old Stock (never worn) stainless steel expansion band. Overall cosmetic & mechanical condition, Just Serviced, Running & keeping time!
